Even though Amazon shows this package as being purchased by people who buy the 16GB model 345 Sony walkman, none of the cables fit in this Walkman! The case is very cheesey and kind of fits the 345, but not all the holes match the 345 model. Amazon should not be pitching this as an accessory to the 345.

Wow! The price was right at just a little over $5. I don't use the silicone skin because I purchased another case separately. But for the USB cord and the interchangeable charger heads, I was happy. I can leave the car charger in the car with the USB cord that came with my Fuze and keep the other with my laptop. I never run out of juice! I'm a little "iffy" on the armband. I may not be using it properly (who knew you'd need directions for that!) but it doesn't seem to work with my leather case. Oh well. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

This arm band has velcro on the OUTSIDE whick rubs against your body! This arm band shredded my brand new shirt and when I tried to turn it a different direction it rubbed against my skin and made it raw no matter which way I turn it. well i bought this product and was amazed in the beginning and i would do more laps than ever. who wouldn't enjoy music while swimming. i even wrote some good reviews about this product.
but then came the disappointment. my biggest fear came true. I discovered that water had actually entered inside the area where i placed the ipod touch. initially i thought maybe i had not closed the lid properly but this goddamn thing actually leaked. the transparent plastic material they have used had fine opening at the edges. maybe its my bad luck that i got a defective piece but my brand new ipod touch is dead. i would never recommend this to anyone

This morning I finally got a chance to try out my new toy and I LOVE it! The music quality appears to be good (as good as it can be with water in your ears along with the earphones...) which made my workout MUCH more enjoyable. Today I spent much of the day messing about with the logistics of the armband though. I first tried it attached to my arm as recommended but apparently my 'guns' aren't big enough as it would slide down to my elbow after a lap or two. My next attempt was to secure it behind my goggle straps on my head. While I'm sure this was all kinds of fashionable it seemed to work quite well and will probably be how I use it in the future. The lifeguard offered to assist me to get it secured to the back of my suit straps and while this did work, the volume increased with each stroke of my shoulderblades. Bottom line...great to have decent quality music while swimming and your body-type will determine if the arm-band is too big, too small or just right but overall- for $30? Total bargain!! My iPod stayed dry and I stayed motivated- win, win!

You will see this case reviewed very positively elsewhere, and the idea behind it (that you buy a case that will roughly fit an MP3 player of an approximate size, and be able to use it with multiple players, new generations of the Nano, etc) is intriguing. But it's not as great as I was led to believe.

The quality of the construction is really good. There's a neoprene and rubber arm-band, which seems very well-made. Tucked inside is a separate, heavy clear plastic waterproof envelope that is connected to an airtight gasket. You slip your MP3 player through the gasket, connect a short headphone cord, and IN THEORY slide the MP3 player in place. No problem, right?

Well, for the Nano 5G, there seem to be several issues (and based on the fact that the 5G is the same length as the 4G, these issues should occur there, too). First, the narrow rectangular gasket opening: Too short to slide the nano through sideways, you have to slide it through at an angle. Given that the waterproof envelope is none to big, and you have all that neoprene behind it, sliding it in and out is an adventure every time, and NOT the good kind of adventure. Feels like there's a serious risk of applying too much pressure to the Nano's screen, or scratching it, or whatever.

I have attempted putting my 5G Nano in there five or six times, and I have yet to be successful at getting it all the way in and positioned correctly in the window. Even if I had, the "hold" switch on the top of the Nano would not be accessible in any way -- so good luck if you have problems with "shake to shuffle" or if the plastic window accidentally depresses any of the controls. I have to believe that unless there's some trick I'm missing here, putting the Nano in and out of the case to sync or charge it will be a tremendous pain.

I really WANT this thing to work, but I'm on the verge of returning it.

Overall this product is a good product. It doesn't have the traditional velcro but a newer kind of velcro type design which is considerably softer and less rigid which I find rather nice. The casing for the mp3 player is ok, it is slightly difficult to access the volume buttons and hold button on the side through the material so i end up fussing with the volume buttons trying to guess which gets louder and softer. The part which hold the armband to the velcro part is considerably larger than expected and is kind of bulky but doesn't really bother me when working out. The cushion on the underside which is the part on your arm is really nice and allows for breath-ability. It does leave a funny imprint on your arm for a little bit but the band doesn't move around or feel like i am losing it or need to tighten it all the time.

I have 15.5" arms at the bicep peak and while its a little snug getting the tune belt on, I never need to use this extender. Once you strap it tight it has to be snug anyway, I want the thing to stay put and you can't have it both ways. I wear it either as a bracer (below elbow facing inwards for ease of screen access) or shoulder strap (upper arm above the bicep for stability and less arm weight).
