While it seems to hold the Rio player that I have, I think the product could be engineered better. The strap would work better if you could tighten it easier... say, with velcro. Also, to reach the controls on the player I need to remove it from the pouch each time. To try to put it back in while working out is difficult as the armband shifts as I try to replace the player.

Overall, it does what it's supposed to do, but the holders for the iPods are much better. It's a shame that they don't manufacture one more specific to other players out there.
