if you have a zen vision m, beware..the velcro that latches over the player is snug and covers the headphone port, which means to use L-shaped (forget vertical type) headphone plug the latch won't be sticking as much as it was designed to, possibly putting your player at risk while running.

other than that, it seems decent

p.s. not sure how the ipod fits.

As some have written the arm band is small. I wiegh 135lbs and that today is very small for a male, I can't see this working for alot of people. I also think the way they designed how you attatch the mp3 to the arm band could have been better. If you don't care about that, the cover fits very nice.

Pros:

I'm disappointed in my armband. As you can see in my pictures, the band started breaking shortly after first using it and, while holding on, is not long for this world.

Again, as you can see in the pictures, its one-size-fits-all design isn't very elegant. It's well suited to my Sansa Fuze, but is very tight around my Nokia N85, which is far from a large cellphone.

On a positive note, it fits my arm well. I have 29cm arms, not small but also not big, and I've tried multiple armbands that were all too small. This one fits with plenty of room for larger arms.

I would not buy this again, but if it hadn't broken I would have likely given it three stars. Still not a ringing endorsement, but acceptable. When this one gives up the ghost, which should happen any day now, I'll buy a different armband.

I use the armband at the gym primarily, both cardio and weights. It loses a star because the headphone wire comes out at a very conspicuous angle, sometimes getting stuck on the machine I'm using at the gym. 99% of the time I don't even notice that I'm wearing it, which is the idea. It is very easy to adjust and put on/take off. Custom designed for iRiver, the casing is excellent.

I had been looking for an iPhone armband for quite some time and decided on this one.

So far it has been great but did notice a few things already mentioned in earlier reviews;

-Armband is a little small, i don't have huge biceps but it is all ready a little snug. If they got a little bigger i may not be able to secure it.

-And in regards to securing it, the "Velcro" closure is sketchy. Not very thick Velcro and feels as if it is going to come lose. It hasn't but i am always afraid.

-Keeps iPhone dry when running, at least from perspiration. After a good run i have taken the phone out and it doesn't seem like the sweat penetrates the material. Seems like it may even hold off water in a light drizzle, just get home pretty quick!

-Screen cover takes a little getting used to. Seems a little thick, which could be a good thing?, but does sometime interfere with accurate swipes or key entries. Not like i am typing with it but when trying to unlock phone or stop RunKeeper Pro i can fumble a tad.

All in all for $ you can't beat it!

Would recommend as long as you have small to medium sized biceps. Bigger guys or gals beware.

I bought this armband carrier for jogging with my Palm Treo 700. It was extremely difficult to get the phone inside the case. The size was much too small for the Palm so buttons & the touch screen were inadvertently pushed during the first 100 yards of my jog, causing the player to stop, skip or otherwise malfunction. Because the phone barely fit in the pouch, controls were not easy to access. Also, the cord jostled around too much so there was too much static & sound malfunctions as well. This arm band would probably work fine for a device that is solely for playing mp3's but certainly not truly universal for all mp3 playing phones & devices.
